Route: Siliguri → Jaigaon → Phuentsholing
Morning:
Departure from Siliguri: Begin early to make the most of the ride. The route takes you through lush tea gardens, rolling hills, and forests.
Border Crossing: Arrive at Jaigaon, the border town. Complete entry formalities before crossing into Bhutan’s Phuentsholing.
Afternoon:
Exploration of Phuentsholing: Visit Zangto Pelri Lhakhang, a beautiful temple in the town center. Explore local markets and take in the unique blend of Indian and Bhutanese cultures.

Day 3
Distance: 170 km

Route: Phuentsholing → Gedu → Chukha → Thimphu
Morning:
Scenic Ascent: Ride through the winding roads of Bhutan’s hilly terrain, passing through dense forests and small villages. Stop at Gedu for views of lush valleys and surrounding hills.
Afternoon:
Arrival in Thimphu: Check into your accommodation and freshen up.
Evening Exploration: Visit Tashichho Dzong, a magnificent fortress and monastery, and explore the city’s unique vibe.

Day 4
Highlights:
Buddha Dordenma: Start the day with a visit to this massive 51-meter-tall statue overlooking the valley, offering panoramic views.

Distance: 80 km (round trip)

Morning:

Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang): Start early for the hike to Bhutan’s iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery, perched on a cliff at 3,120 meters. The round-trip trek takes around 5 hours, with breathtaking views along the way.
Kyichu Lhakhang: One of Bhutan’s oldest temples, dating back to the 7th century, offers a peaceful atmosphere and a glimpse into Bhutan’s religious past.
