In June 2017, Royal Bikers embarked on a life-changing mission to Hanle, Ladakh, under the initiative “Let There Be Light.” This endeavor was not just a response to the literal darkness that cloaks this remote region, but to the unspoken darkness in the lives of the nomadic communities.

Hanle, situated at an altitude of 14,500 feet above sea level, is a remote hamlet near the Indo-China border. The majority of its residents are nomadic, engaged in cattle grazing. The children return home as the sun sets, and it’s here that their struggle begins. Back then, the lack of electricity and affordability of kerosene lamps kept them in the dark, depriving them of valuable study time and a brighter future.

Royal Bikers, with their unwavering commitment to social responsibility, endeavored to transform these lives. By distributing solar lamps, they addressed multiple issues:

1. Education: Solar lamps extended the children’s study hours, empowering them with knowledge, opening doors to a better future.
